Komodo Neodymium Daylight Spot Bulb 150W

Daylight Spot Bulbs are produced using glass that thas been impregnated with a type of "rare earth" known as neodymium, which gives the glass a blue hue. 

When neodymium is present, in the glass of a spot bulb, it filters out yellow light produced by normal spot bulbs, this then creates a whiter light, that is more natural in appearance. Neodymium filtered light can also enhance the appearance of greens and reds within the enclosure.

Great but blew quickly

I bought two of these for my two beardies to give them a go and I found the light and heat output was far superior to other bulbs I’ve used and with my senior dragon in particular it did wonders for his health and activity levels but I did find both the bulbs seemed to blow very quickly just with normal use and no jolting around or anything.
Not sure whether I just got a few duds or if there’s some sort of design flaw but I have ordered two more to see how they go on the change I just got a bad batch before.
