Pisces Crickets are Australia's premium crickets and have been used by zoos, wildlife sanctuaries, vets, animal-carers and families for over 20 years.
Crickets are a nutritious and natural addition to the diets of many animals. They are easy to use and are a wholesome livefood which help to provide the protein and roughage animals would naturally acquire in the wild.
Crickets are also lively and the thrill of the chase brings out the natural hunting skills of captive animals which also provides enrichment.
How to Feed: If desired dust your crickets with Pisces Calcium, then grab a cricket with your fingers or stainless steel feeding tongs. If they are too fast, you can place the cricket tub into the fridge for 5 minutes before you want to feed, it will slow the crickets down a bit. (Do not leave them in the fridge).
Only feed enough crickets that will be eaten immediately. Sometimes, escaped crickets may make a home for themselves in your animals' enclosure and may possibly damage lizard eggs or newly hatched birds during darkness. Some people prefer to have a separate smaller terrarium (e.g. Komodo Plastic Terrariums) to place their animals in when they feed crickets. This can make it easier, especially for babies or the elderly, to catch their crickets before they run away and hide.
Cricket Care and Storage: Pisces Crickets should be provided with fresh Aquaload and Gutload every few days. These water and food sources should be constantly available to maximize the longevity of the crickets and provide maximum nutrition to your animals.
Gutload is eaten by the crickets and then consumed by your animals before the cricket digests it providing a valuable boost of protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals in addition to the nutrition in the cricket itself. This makes the crickets "Gutloaded."
For longer storage Pisces Cricket Keepers are ideal. They have handy feeding tubes that the crickets "hide" in which makes them easy to catch and feed out.
Crickets prefer to be between 25ºC to 30ºC. Avoid poisonous fumes, pesticides and cleaning supplies near crickets.
Bulk Pack Care: Bulk packs of crickets should be immediately released into Pisces Cricket Keepers or bulk storage boxes upon arrival.
Crickets need Gutload, Aquaload and shelter to maximise their shelf-life.
Crickets are suitable for bearded dragons, blue tongue lizards, geckos, other reptiles, turtles, chickens, ducks and other poultry, fish such as cichlids, barramundi and oscars, wild birds, spiders, scorpions, millipedes, centipedes and othe insect eating animals.

One of the best business I ever worked with.
Was not happy about the postage increase by $5 but guess this is the world now. On the other the parcel arrives in a day and is superbly packaged.
Even if there is an issue Lisa sort it strait away,
Well do e guys.
.some of my guys saying hello
I breed finches and they absolutely love their live crickets , 20-30 crickets are usually gone within minutes . . . I give my birds some every-morning and they are usually waiting for their crickets.
I get the small crickets because finches are small, they tend to be scared of the larger crickets and wont eat them.
Great insects
So very happy with the crickets and all the information you send through.
I have two baby pygmy beardies and a one year old turtle. Gus, Tiamat and Eddie love their crickets! 1000 last me about four weeks, they’re usually delivered on a Tuesday if I order on a Monday. Super convenient and a lot more economical than buying small tubs from pet shops. Excellent packaging with very minimal casualties from the trip. Love it :)
Excellent! Thank you.
I've been buying crickets from reptilerealm for some time now, postage is always efficient. Lenny loves his bugs, they arrive healthy. Customer service is a pleasure to deal with.
The crickets are great and very healthy ,but your courier didn't leave them under my verandah like they were supposed to .but it was brilliant I love your service
Order small crickets about a week ago and the mail put them in a place where I am unable to get delivered over the long weekend. I reached out to you guys and told them about it and your response was to send me another lot. Thanks so much for your excellent help
I have been buying my crickets from Reptile Realm for several years now. They are ALWAYS received healthy, with little to no losses. The best part of buying these healthy crickets in bulk, is that they continue for several weeks in a large tub with fresh food, allowing me to feed out over time. I used to buy tubs from the pet shop, where half were almost dead on the day you bought them, the rest not lasting a week and costing me a fortune. Thank you, Reptile Realm, for taking the time and effort to produce quality crickets that you send in appropriate packaging! Highly recommend your products.
