Hermit Crabs are unusual and interesting pets. They are easy to care for and make entertaining companions. Hermit Crabs are active, inquisitive, and have distinct personalities. They are land crabs that enjoy the company of other crabs and are often very lively at night. They are the perfect pet if you are a night owl. Hermies are interesting during the day and fascinating at night. They are best kept in groups of three or more.

Hermit Crabs require a safely enclosed habitat. They love to climb and can escape from the most surprising places. They like a nice deep substrate, fresh and salt water baths, shell grit, a healthy varied diet, a temperature range of 20-30 degrees Celcius, and humidity levels at around 70-80%

Hermit Crabs like to change their shells occasionally. It is important that they have a selection of empty shells to choose from in their habitats. 

Designer Shells come in a wide variety of colourful designs. They often feature cartoon characters or a sequinned design.
