Ideal substrate for hermit crab  habitats.

Hermit Crabs need a deep, damp substrate to assist them when they moult their exoskeletons. The bedding blend should be moistened before use to provide a humid environment. The substrate depth should be two to three times the size of the crab.

The crabs need to bury themselves completely for privacy & safety when they moult. 

Also suitable for reptile & arthropod habitats.
